Cliff was the Deputy Principal at Epping Boys High School for 15 years and retired in 2007. During this time he developed many insights into the issues men face in their formative years.
Some of the topics that Cliff will cover are: social changes over the last 40 years, some statistics that will surprise, the impact of society and culture on boys, the need to address student's emotional needs, and dealing with vulnerability and ambiguity.
The Locker Room is an initiative by the men of Epping Baptist Church; where men of all ages can come together and be equipped for life's journey through great speakers, thoughtful discussion and good fellowship.

Guest speaker - Melinda Tankard Reist Toxic - The impact of popular culture on girls and young women
In many areas, girls do better. They are ahead of the boys in school. They are in better physical health than their male counterparts. They have a range of options in work and education. Yet despite all the great opportunities on offer, girls are struggling. In an age of "Girl Power", many are feeling powerless. They are facing unprecedented social pressure, their emotional and psychological well-being at risk in ways never before imagined. In demand as a speaker, and a regular on prominent television and radio programs, Melinda is named in Who's Who of Australian Women and the World Who's Who of Women.
